After two long months of my wife and in-laws working on the house, we will be listing it for sale!!
Why just my wife and in-laws you ask? Because I've been working two jobs. So I have not had much chance to help.
All in all, I think every room but one was touched. Kitchen, master bedroom, master bedroom 1/2 bath, mud room, hallway, and front room were all repainted. Two daughters rooms were touched up. Main bathroom floor was ripped up and replaced, along with the vanity and toilet (I actually had time to help with that one), light fixtures replaced, new garage pedestrian door installed, and a bunch of other random things taken care of and lots of "de-cluttering" (I'm so sick of hearing that word).
So yeah, now we just have to sell it. Then we can begin the move into the new place.

Congratulations!
I for one am not looking forward to any housework this summer. All the drywall has to come down to take care of a pesky ant problem.

That was our goal when we decided to do this in late January. My mother in law thought we could be listing by the first of March. A month later, here we are. Last night, the agent said we are listing at a good time. I'm hoping for a quick sale so we can move on to the next phase.

Not yet but I wish we would have known about it before buying the place. I think it's just 4 or 5 walls, and honestly I might just remove them altogether if I can (the house has an odd layout).
